Mark moved to Alice Springs in 1975 as an 8 year old and, outside work commitments, has remained in the Northern Territory. Mark has extensive experience in most aspects of civil construction projects and is well respected within the industry.

Mark commenced his career as a labourer on various roadwork operations in the Alice Springs Region. He went on to plant operating including final trim grader operator then to supervision and for the past 10 years project management.

Mark has worked on both the client and contractor sides of construction, with long and extensive experience in planning, management, design, procurement and construction of commercial and infrastructure engineering projects in the fields of:

In leading up to his current level of senior construction management, Mark has worked extensively over the years as client superintendent on site supervising construction, but obviously likes to be in on the project at the start for planning and development, feasibility, design, costing and procurement input.

He is well regarded in the industry in northern Australia, UAE, Indonesia and Timor as a very practical no-nonsense project manager to get the job done, or to fix a job that is falling behind in time and budget.

Mark is familiar with the NT Government contract conditions, procedures, superintendence responsibilities, PowerWater Corporation codes, construction industry practices and requirements with regard to employment, training and indigenous issues, and higher than construction industry with regard to safety procedures (as per mining, oil and gas standards).
